External audit supports transparent and efficient financial management at SOS Children's Villages Bolivia
The opinion issued by Ruizmier SRL on the 2024 financial statements concludes that they are clean and reasonable, confirming good management and transparency in the use of resources.
SOS Children's Villages Bolivia received a clean opinion in the external audit for the 2024 financial year. The report, prepared by the independent auditing firm Ruizmier SRL, confirmed the transparency, order, and proper financial management of the organization throughout the year.
This result supports the institutional commitment to a sound management of resources, which come from the International Subsidy (39%) from four Promoting and Supporting Associations (PSAs); International Sponsorship (24%) from more than 14,000 caring individuals from different countries; Local Income (31%) from more than 45,000 individual donors, partner companies, development agencies, subnational governments, and return on assets; and, finally, other projects carried out along with Promoting and Supporting Associations (PSAs) (6%) that also involve international cooperation or international companies. Each of these contributions was managed responsibly to support vulnerable children, adolescents, and families in Bolivia.
In financial terms, the organization recorded the total income to implement its programme-related services, highlighting growth in local fundraising compared to the previous year. This strengthening of internal funding sources reflects the confidence of citizens and local partners in the impact of SOS Children's Villages work. This efficiency made it possible to sustain operations without compromising the quality of services provided to children.
The external audit validates that resources are used in a timely and appropriate manner in the planned projects, ensuring that they reach the families participating in the various services provided by SOS Children's Villages Bolivia across the country.
The external audit certifies transparency and also reinforces public confidence and the ethical commitment of SOS Children's Villages Bolivia to each child and family it supports.
